Overview
Kitforge Bundles is a Shopify app operated by Rooklane. We use information from Shopify and from merchants only as needed to provide, maintain, support, and improve the app.
In this policy, "merchant" means a Shopify store owner or team member using Kitforge Bundles. "Customer" means a shopper who interacts with a merchant's Shopify storefront.
Information we collect
When a merchant installs or uses Kitforge Bundles, we may collect information that Shopify makes available to the app, including:
- Store information, such as shop domain, store name, locale, currency, and Shopify plan details.
- Merchant contact information, such as the store owner's name and email address.
- Product, variant, inventory, collection, cart, and order-related information needed to create and run bundle offers.
- App configuration data, such as bundle settings, offer rules, widget settings, schedule settings, analytics events, and app preferences.
- Technical information, such as browser, device, IP address, log data, diagnostics, and usage events related to app performance and support.
When a customer interacts with a Kitforge Bundles storefront widget, we may process information needed to make the bundle experience work, such as product selections, cart or checkout identifiers, storefront event data, and technical logs. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information or payment card information from shoppers, and we do not sell personal information.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate Kitforge Bundles.
- Create, display, validate, schedule, and analyze bundle offers.
- Sync app state with Shopify products, inventory, carts, checkouts, and orders where required by app features.
- Respond to merchant support requests and troubleshoot issues.
- Improve app reliability, usability, performance, and security.
- Communicate important app, support, security, or policy updates.
- Use aggregated or de-identified information to understand app performance and feature usage.
- Comply with legal, platform, tax, accounting, and security obligations.
We do not use merchant or customer information collected by Kitforge Bundles for unrelated advertising or to sell personal information.
International processing
Rooklane and the service providers we use may process information in countries other than where a merchant or customer is located. When required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Kitforge Bundles, support merchants, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
If a merchant uninstalls Kitforge Bundles, we will delete or anonymize app-related store data within a reasonable period unless we need to retain it for legitimate legal, security, accounting, or operational reasons.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Merchants may access, update, or delete certain app settings inside Kitforge Bundles or Shopify. Merchants may also uninstall the app from Shopify at any time.

Updates
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may notify merchants through the app, email, or another appropriate channel.
